![]() ![]() In PT I get that flop was checked through 11k times and in excel 26k/2 = 13k times. Problem starts with flop checked through line.Īnd in excel I took that Blanks in str_aggressors_f must be checks: (actually in PT call PF 2Bet is 94.2% so 27 875 * 0.94 = 26 258 and we get exact same numbers in PT and excel) I get 27 875 occurrences in PT and 52 366 rows in excel which is 26 183 hands. But for comparison here are few filters:įor SB_Open_BB_Call i used this as filter: I take there are inaccuracies in filtering. Most numbers are not so far off each other and seem reasonable to me. and compared the results from excel sheet with pokertracker. Next I filtered for various flop actions like c-bet, float bet, flop checked etc. Now I filtered specifically for SB open, BB call and got 123k rows. As I understand when we divide this number by 2 we get the real number of hands because each hand is from two players perspective -> so we see the hand played from BB´s and SB´s perspective separately. I filtered for position 8 and 9, str_actors_p and got 194k rows which is 194k hands (each row is a hand played). I have a dataset on excel sheet for SB vs BB action. Most of the data is pretty consistent but some of it is conflicting. I have been filtering data within Excel and compared it to Pokertracker numbers. So I must have misunderstood amt_p_raise_made in some way Roushie Posts: 18 Joined: Tue 7:13 pm ![]() I have confirmed through multiple examples that the amt_bet_p = to the total chips BB puts into pot (including his BB, raise size and SB´s opening size) But as can be seen from the table amt_bet_p is equal to amt_p_raise_made which doesnt make sense.Īmt_bet_p numeric Total amount bet pre-flop. BB´s 3-Bet size can be either amt_bet_p or amt_p_raise_made + amt_p_raise_facing. amt_p_raise_facing + BB is the SB´s opening size. SB opens, BB 3-Bets, we are seeing the situation from BB´s perspective. (as is certainly the case when facing a raise, e.g amt_p_raise_facing is always the amount over the what has been put into pot by the player facing the raise) I have understood that the raise is the amount anything over that is already facing the player. ![]() WIll the above field show me effective stacks as 1700 or after posting the blinds it will become 1600 effective (big blind = 100) Roushie Posts: 18 Joined: Tue 7:13 pmĪmt_p_raise_made numericĚmount of the first raise by this player pre-flop. Say BB has a 1700 and SB has 2000 chips before blinds are posted. This particular line amt_p_raise_facing, will it show SB´s Open Size - BB (amt_p_2bet_facing - amt_bb) or it will be showing SB´s Open Size - SB (amt_p_2bet_facing - amt_sb) <- this is all from BB´s perspectiveĪmt_bet_p - say SB opens and BB 3-Bets, is this field going to include BB´s posted big blind?Īmt_p_effective_stack - is this with blinds included or not. csv format and im having some trouble understanding how certain fields are calculated.Īmt_p_raise_facing - when the preflop action is that SB opens and BB 3-Bets. I have used QUERY to get myself the database in. I did find some of the fields explained in the Statistics tab:īut these deal mostly with count x. e.g amt_p_raise_facing, how is it calculated. I am looking for a manual that explains the Fields found in the SQL tables. So maybe that alone might swing the needle over to Holdem Manager.I'm so confused on which one to get.I searched around in Guides and Forums but didnt find the information I was looking for. I was leaning slightly towards PokerTracker 4 however, I've been following Jonathan Little's YouTube videos (and have purchased a few of his books) and he seems to favor Holdem Manager 3 (he has a YouTube video called 'How to Use a HUD to CRUSH Your Opponents' and in that video he offers his HUDs that he uses for importing to Holdem Manager). I'm just trying to decide which one to get? I'm curious what everyone's experiences are (good and bad), if you've used one of these two softwares, or both at some point. PokerTracker 4 and Holdem Manager 3 look like the most popular ones (both look equally great to me, and similar in price). Hi I've decided it's time to finally get a poker tracking software to efficiently advance in my poker learning (I've been doing tons of research on YouTube on reviews for each and both look equally great).
